Sodo 7 is located south of the Old Market in Little Italy, a hilly and historic neighborhood full of eclectic restaurants and shops. This neighborhood formed during the late 1800s and became a key area during Prohibition -- bootlegging operations were headed by Tom Dennison, a major crime boss in the 1920s with ties to Al Capone. Today's Little Italy features several landmarks and it is home to one of the city's longest-running festivals, the Festival of Santa Lucia.
